How to Find and Claim Your Item
All unclaimed items found within the terminal are handed over to the Lost & Found Department and documented before being stored securely.
The Lost and Found office operates 24x7 for your convenience.
On-Site
- Report the Lost Item: Call the Lost and Found number or send an email to the official Lost and Found email id
- Provide Your Information: We’ll ask for your contact details and a description of the lost item (colour, brand, unique marks, etc.)
- Wait for Confirmation: If your item is found, our team will contact you and share a reference number for collection
- Claim Your Item: Visit the Lost and Found Counter (24x7 Operational) at Level 0 adjacent to the arrival exit
- Fill Claim Form: You’ll be given a Claim Form at the counter. Fill it and hand it back to our staff
- Collect Your Item: After document verification, your item will be handed over to you
Online
- Check the Lost Items List: Look through the list of found items and click on the one that matches your lost item
- Enter Your Mobile Number: We’ll ask you to register your number so we can contact you
- Fill Out the Claim Form: Tell us about the item and provide your details
- Get a Confirmation Email: Once you submit the form, you’ll get an email from us
- Check if Item Match is Found: If a match is found, we’ll send you a link to the claim form to complete the process
- Send Required Documents: Upload your ID and anything else we ask to confirm the item is yours
- If Item Match is Not Found: Reply to our email with more details. We’ll continue searching and contact you if we find something
- Pick Up Your Item: Once verified, use the chat box to choose a pickup date
Documents Required
If you’re collecting the item yourself:
- A copy of your boarding pass
- A description of the item
- A valid government photo ID
- Reference number or confirmation email from Lost and Found
If someone else is collecting on your behalf:
- Their valid government photo ID
- Your valid government photo ID
- Your boarding pass
- A signed letter from you giving them permission to collect the item
- Include what the item is
- Proof it belongs to you
- The reason you can’t collect it yourself
- An authorisation email can also be considered in the absence of a letter
- Reference number or confirmation email from Lost and Found
Important to Know
- Items lost inside the terminal are handled by the airport’s Lost & Found team
- Items left on the flight are the responsibility of the airline. Please contact your airline directly
- Airlines are responsible for your baggage from check-in to baggage claim
