Prohibited Items
Before packing, check what is not permitted. This will help you pass through security without delays.
Not Permitted in Hand Baggage
- Sharp objects (scissors, knives, blades)
- Lighters, matches, or flammable liquids
- Firearms, replicas, or toy weapons
- Explosives or ammunition
- Power tools and heavy blunt instruments
- Toxic or corrosive materials
- Liquids or gels exceeding 100 ml (unless declared)
Not Permitted in Checked-in Baggage
- Power banks or spare lithium batteries
- E-cigarettes or vaping devices
- Valuable electronics or fragile devices
- Live animals (unless cleared by quarantine authorities)
- Pressurised containers like gas cylinders or aerosols

Liquids & Gels
- Only containers of 100 ml or less are allowed in hand baggage
- All items must fit into one resealable plastic bag (Security Temper-Evident Bags)
- To clear security seamlessly, please collect a resealable plastic bag (STEB) for your belongings at the security check area
- Exceptions: Baby food, medicines, and special dietary items over 100 ml must be declared
Batteries & Electronic Devices
- Power banks and spare batteries must be in hand baggage only
- Devices like laptops and tablets may need to be screened separately
